Description

The Cuban Burrowing Roach hails from Cuba. This great roach is very easy to breed and care for. They cannot climb and they do not fly. They look similar to Roth’s Burrowing Roaches but Cuban’s are smaller, faster and easier to breed.

• Adult Size: 1.5″ to 2″
• Mode of Birth: Ovoviviparous.
• Temperature Requirements: 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Air Humidity: Drier side
• Substrate Humidity: Slightly damp but can fair well in drier conditions. They seem to prefer damp bedding.
• Favorite Foods: Fish flakes, fruit, carrots and Pecan leaves.
• Locality: Cuba

The burrowing roaches have gained momentum as both pets and feeders within the hobby. These are very equivelent to dubia in many respects including ease of care, reproductive rate, and build -though these are significantly larger (especially the females). This particular species and the other hobby ​​Byrsotria are very easy to keep, being very tolerant of neglect if setup correctly.
