Oniscus Asellus, also known as the Common Woodlouse, is a large isopod that lives in woodland and can be found under bark and leaves.

They are very easy to raise.  Just provide coconut coir bedding that is slightly damp and plenty of dried hardwood leaves.

They eat fish flakes, dried leaves and vegetables like carrot.  They live and thrive at room temperature of cooler.  A cool basement is perfect for them if you life in a hot area.

Oniscus Asellus breed readily if provided good food and a roomy enclosure.

You will receive 20 isopods so a plastic shoe box will work well until you have about 100 and then you should scale up to a sweater box.
