Starter Culture
Palembus dermestoides
Usage: The larvae are great for feeding geckos, tropical fish and small birds.  They cannot climb smooth surfaces and they are very easy to breed and keep. Â
Larvae are composed of 55% crude protein, 18% fat.
LIFE CYCLE:  Keep at 75 to 85 degrees F- Egg will hatch in 1-2 weeks. Larvae will transform into pupae and then beetles which can live for a couple of months. Female beetles will lay approximately 200 eggs during their lifetime. Â
