Porcellio Ornatus are a large breed of isopod that is found in Spain. They like their habitat on the dry side with a wet area to retreat to. If kept around 80 degrees that will breed like crazy, but they will live and breed at room temps but not as well.

They will reach about 1″ in length and will start to breed before they reach full size, like most isopods do. These are rare isopods in the United States but they were growing in popularity. They make great feeders for a variety of pets because of how they move, their meaty bodies and because they breed so well in captivity. This posting is for a colony of 12 mixed age isopods but all will be young. I will ship more to ensure that you get at least 12 which is the right amount for starting a colony.
